Counselling Can Help
Counselling Can Help
I aim to listen, understand and to help you reach your potential.

About counselling:
About counselling:
Counselling can help with a wide variety of issues including anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, relationship breakdowns and loss.
I can provide a safe, caring and confidential environment to help you explore your emotions; encouraging self discovery and promote change, if appropriate.
There are many types of counselling available. I am an Integrative Counsellor which means I can use different modalities to assist you in your process.
I work in a Humanistic way which means I value the relationship that is built between us. I use psychodynamic, person-centred Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and some Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) plus several others, to enable you to become aware and recognise that change is possible.
Counselling can be a safe space to explore issues and concerns that do not feel 'safe'.
A counselling session usually lasts for 50 minutes and is generally once a week.
It is usually face to face but I am also able to offer telephone and online counselling sessions.
